A great way for our younger members to feel a part of their church community is to involve them in the music ministry. For those youngsters who love to sing or play a musical instrument, our children's choir program provides a wonderful outlet for this gift and a way to serve the community through ministry. This fun, exciting and edifying musical activity strengthens the faith experience of our children and introduces them to life-changing and formative experiences.

At Saint Elizabeth of Hungary Parish, we have a Children’s Choir made up of both students from the St Elizabeth grade school and those children of the parish who attend other schools in the area. Requirements for membership include a love of music and singing, good vocal and pitch-matching skills, availability to sing liturgies and excellent behavior. Participants are expected to commit to the full year of singing.

An informal audition is required. If you would like your child to join the choir, please call 412-882-8436 to schedule a time. Auditions are in room 109 of St. Pius X Hall. All children must be accompanied by a parent, and do not have to prepare a song in advance.
