Sisters of Saint Francis Alumni Gala will be held on Thursday, October 4 at the South Hills Country Club. The event begins at 6:00 pm. All proceeds benefit the ministries and outreach of the Sisters of Saint Francis of the Providence of God. Admission is $75 per guest. Faith Afloat River Cruise for high school men and women on the Gateway Clipper Empress on Sunday, October 14 , from 3:00-6:00 pm. The cruise will include dinner, a talk by Father Adam Potter and Sister Mary Gianna, praise and worship led by the Holy Apostles Parish Band, and a dance party. Tickets are just $20. Catholic Hospice is seeking a Clinical Care Coordinator, RN’s and LPN’s. Serving those at the end-of-life is a most rewarding gift. The Catholic Hospice Team is growing and interested persons are invited to serve in a ministry that is true to the mission of respecting life even in its terminal stage. Bishop Canevin High School will hold its Open House on Sunday, October 21 from 11:30 am to 3:00 pm. Students in grades 5-8 and their families are invited to take a personally guided tour of the school with current students, meet the faculty and coaches, ask questions and learn about Bishop Canevin’s Jesuit-inspired education, including the well-established STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) program.
