Speaking to an audience of Catholic educators in New Orleans 20 years ago, Pope Saint John Paul II said, “Yours is a great gift to the Church, a great gift to your nation.” Countless people in our country have been blessed by the many gifts of Catholic Schools. They have carried what they have learned and witnessed with them; however, many have lost touch with our local Catholic school communities. It is time for these people to reconnect with Catholic schools and give back. It is with this recognition in mind that Saint Elizabeth Elementary School will participate in Many Gifts, One Nation: A Day of Giving to Catholic Schools. It is scheduled for Tuesday, January 30 , beginning at 9:00 am and continuing until Wednesday, January 31 at 9:00 am. During this 24 hour period you are invited to give to your local Catholic school. Gifts may only be made online at: https://stelizparish.portal.giving.factsmgt.com

cloud3Mission Statement

Saint Elizabeth of Hungary Parish is a Roman Catholic community celebrating a living faith in the living God. We believe the Eucharist is the source and summit of our vibrant, prayerful worship.

Driven by a belief in the dignity of the human person, we reach out to serve all, to educate in the truths of Sacred Scripture and the Magisterium of the Church, and to foster the sacramental life of the faithful.

Inspired by our patroness, we strive to live the greatest of all virtues - charity. We care for the poor, children and the elderly, those cast as exiles and those who mourn. We encourage stewardship through freely giving of our time, talent and treasure.

With open doors and open hearts, we invite everyone to join us on a faith-filled journey toward salvation.
